About the Manager - Investments Role

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Investment Management (IM) team at Mercer. Based in Mumbai, this hybrid role requires working at least three days a week in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ESG analytics and manage ESG reporting and disclosure requirements.
• Manage internal monitoring systems, including exclusions maintenance, manager ESG engagement, and net zero tracking.
• Handle queries from internal and external stakeholders and disseminate information.
• Integrate ESG considerations into portfolio construction and manager evaluation.
• Support engagement with external investment managers and fund stewardship programs.
• Contribute to development of Mercer’s sustainability labelled investment products.
• Continuously update knowledge on industry and market developments.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, engineering, science, or statistics.
• Postgraduate qualification (CFA, CIMA, FRM, PRM or Masters) is desirable.
• Experience in a similar role within multi-manager or asset consulting organizations.
• Proficiency in ESG analysis and use of third-party risk systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
