Data Analytics UI/UX Designer at Mercer
We are seeking a talented individual to join our MMB Analytics team at Mercer, a Marsh business. This role will be based in Cluj Napoca and is a hybrid position requiring at least three days a week in the office.
The MMB Analytics team is crucial for advancing the analytics proposition both internally within MMB and for clients. We operate as experts, helping the organization gain a competitive advantage through data analytics. The MMB Analytics team is seeking a talented and experienced UI/UX Designer to contribute to our analytics initiatives. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with senior leaders, product owners, and developers to design exceptional web and analytics products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing intuitive, user-centered web and analytics interfaces and possess excellent English communication skills.
We will count on you to:
- Collaborate closely with senior leaders to understand and translate their vision into compelling designs.
- Work with product owners to scope and develop meaningful, user-friendly design templates that align with business goals.
- Partner with developers to ensure effective implementation and delivery of design solutions.
- Design and iterate on web and analytics product interfaces that enhance user experience and engagement.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and improve product functionality.
- Maintain consistency in design standards and ensure accessibility and usability across platforms.
- Generate user flows and personas to support product design and understanding.
- Provide analysis on usage statistics to inform future design decisions.
- Communicate design concepts clearly and effectively to non-technical and technical stakeholders.
What you need to have:
- Proven experience in UI/UX design, specifically for web and analytics products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in user-centric design, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design.
- Excellent command of English, both written and verbal, to articulate design ideas and collaborate effectively.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Strong critical thinking skills and mindfulness.
- Comfortable working and communicating with non-technical business users in English.
- Ability to maintain discretion and deal appropriately with confidential information.
