Digital Platforms Junior Associate Consultant Overview and Responsibilities
The Digital Platforms Junior Associate Consultant (JAC) will play a crucial role in enhancing the digital experience for Mercedes-Benz shoppers, both on MBUSA.com and across dealerships nationwide, by supporting key initiatives on MBUSA.com and the Digital Dealer Tools program. This internship provides invaluable hands-on exposure to digital content operations, process improvement, and extensive cross-functional collaboration. Key Responsibilities:
- Digital Content Operations: Support digital signage content across dealership screens, adapt content for specialized displays, maintain content calendars, and curate content for the Digital Facility Element (Digital Signage) program.
- Marketing & Communications: Develop content topics and assist with updates for marketing newsletters.
- Reporting & Metrics: Contribute to monthly reporting, monitor performance tools, track compliance, and conduct audits; effectively present actionable insights.
- Process Building & Automation: Support the development of automated workflows and governance processes, fostering collaboration with vendors and agency partners. Assist in creating automation for both existing and new processes.
- Quality Assurance & Testing: Validate digital content, monitor content expirations, audit reporting accuracy, and actively participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- A/B Testing & Continuous Improvement: Aid in the creation and management of an A/B testing backlog for key pages on MBUSA.com, identify high-value test ideas, and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize opportunities that enhance digital experience performance.
- Digital Strategy & Research: Conduct comprehensive competitor research, benchmark user experience (UX) patterns, and explore emerging technologies. Stay informed about the latest automotive and luxury industry trends.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, external vendors, internal stakeholders, and agency partners; efficiently support and address incoming inquiries.
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. This includes rising juniors or seniors seeking corporate experience, graduate students with relevant experience, and early career candidates preparing for advanced professional roles.
- Available for a 12-month period, commencing March 16, 2026.
- Ability to commit to a hybrid schedule at the Atlanta office for up to 28 hours per week, with onsite presence at least 3 days per week.
- Proof of proficiency through class projects, portfolios, or recommendation letters.
Preferred Skillset:
- Exposure to website design concepts or UX best practices acquired through coursework, personal projects, or online learning.
- Demonstrated strong communication, organizational skills, and meticulous attention-to-detail.
- Tech-savvy individual comfortable learning new tools, with the ability to interpret data and translate technical documentation into clear, actionable insights.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Excel, or Power BI, and a keen interest in learning additional project management or analytics platforms.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, possessing a driven-to-win attitude.
