Job Overview

Mercalis, an integrated life sciences commercialization partner, is looking for a Program Supervisor to manage reimbursement and administrative supervision. The role involves coordinating program services, ensuring quality assurance, and managing personnel activities within the department.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct leadership, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
• Serve as liaison between the Program Manager and the team.
• Plan daily schedules, assign tasks, and monitor productivity.
• Submit detailed daily and weekly reports.
• Oversee reimbursement support activities and quality assurance.
• Evaluate program needs and recommend process improvements.
• Advocate for patients and healthcare professionals on reimbursement issues.
• Coordinate with offshore team members for seamless program execution.
• Participate in quarterly business reviews and internal/external meetings.
• Lead problem-solving and act as first line of escalation.
• Assist with onboarding and development of new team members.

Qualifications

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with 4 years of experience in reimbursement, healthcare billing, or insurance processing. A minimum of 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a service-driven environment is preferred. Extensive knowledge of pharmacy benefit methodologies, Medicare, Medicaid, and private payer payment methodologies is required. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Additional Information

Shift available for this role is 11AM-8PM EST, Monday through Friday. This role involves independent judgment with regular review by the Program Manager.
