The Role
We're seeking a dedicated English Tutor to work with Grades 6–12 students following the British curriculum, covering Key Stage 3 through IGCSE and A-Level English Language & Literature or US Common Core.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging online sessions covering reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, grammar, vocabulary, and spoken English skills.
- Teach literary analysis across fiction, poetry, drama, and non-fiction, helping students explore themes, context, language techniques, and authorial intent.
- Design lesson plans aligned with Key Stage 3, IGCSE, and A-Level English Language & Literature syllabi (Cambridge/Edexcel).
- Develop advanced writing skills including essay structure, argumentation, persuasive writing, and textual evidence integration.
- Prepare students for board examinations with past-paper practice, timed writing exercises, and exam techniques.
- Support coursework development and guided revision strategies.
- Track progress through regular assessments and provide detailed feedback to students and parents.

- Bachelor's degree in English, Literature, Education, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience teaching English within the British curriculum.
