Opportunity at Research Specialist Mouse Genetics
This role in the Mouse Genetics Core Facility combines benchwork, computational data analysis, and bioresource management. You will work in experimental areas such as embryology, reproductive biology, microscopy, image analysis, and bioinformatics.
Role Overview
- Conduct experiments in embryology, reproductive biology, microscopy, bioinformatics
- Maintain SOPs, research documentation, and equipment schedules
- Analyze data and compile project reports
- Manage bioresource inventory using FileMaker, Smartsheet, Airtable
- Train and guide lab personnel and external users
- Troubleshoot, optimize methodologies, and ensure quality control
- Assist with cost tracking and service billing
Key Qualifications
- Experience in embryology, reproductive biology, cell biology, microscopy, molecular biology, or bioinformatics
- Competence in computational data analysis and scientific reporting
- Familiarity with database platforms like FileMaker, Smartsheet, or Airtable; scripting is a plus
- Commitment to long-term contribution

Additional Information
This full-time role follows a Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours schedule onsite at 430 E. 67th Street, NYC. Reports to the Mouse Genetics Core Facility Head.
Compensation and Benefits
Competitive pay ranging from $82,000.00 to $131,200.00, reflective of job experience and skills.
