Overview

Megaport is seeking a highly experienced Network Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Engineering team. In this senior role, you will design and implement sophisticated test automation frameworks to validate our network automation platform and ensure its performance, resilience, and reliability.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design and develop test automation frameworks.
  • Build and maintain virtualised network environments using Containerlab, Kubernetes, and other tools.
  • Create automated system-level and integration tests for real-world scenarios.
  • Collaborate with development teams to define testing strategies and identify edge cases.
  • Analyze and report on test results for quality assurance.
  • Continuously improve CI/CD pipelines with integrated test automation.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies in network automation and testing.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance.

What We Are Looking For

  • Deep familiarity with virtualisation and orchestration tools like Containerlab, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Senior-level experience in test automation, virtualised environments, and networking.
  • Proficiency in Python or Go for test automation system development.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of networking concepts (BGP, OSPF, EVPN).
  • Experience integrating test suites into CI/CD workflows.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
