Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing Automation, you’ll help bring bold, brilliant ideas to life by assembling the gears and cogs behind campaigns. What you'll be doing as a Marketing Automation Specialist

  • Work with the Senior Manager, Marketing Automation and the North and South American marketing teams to develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with the company's overall business goals and objectives.
  • Be the subject matter expert for marketing operations in the Americas. Support the field marketing teams in your regions.
  • Partner with Content and Web teams to ensure marketing automation programs and landing pages follow technical SEO best practices.
  • Write, edit, and optimize digital content to align with SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) best practices, improving visibility across traditional search engines and AI-powered platforms.
  • Ensure forms, tracking, and automation logic support (and don’t break) crawlability, page performance, and organic conversion.
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot email and landing page templates using HTML and CSS to ensure consistent rendering and responsiveness across desktop, mobile, and major email clients.
  • Configure and optimize multi-step, conditional Zapier automations connecting platforms such as CRM, marketing automation, and analytics tools to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Develop data-driven metrics and reporting to determine the ROI of digital marketing activities and provide key reporting and insights to the regional marketing teams.
  • Be an evangelist, champion the use of digital technology and best practices within your region. Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing across functions to establish and support a robust digital ecosystem.
  • Use your data-driven mindset to find areas where we are underperforming and test automated fixes.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team, sales, and the sales operations teams to ensure campaigns are hitting their mark.
  • Lead the production of inspiring digital campaigns which build the brand and drive revenue.

What we require

  • 3+ years of experience working in a marketing discipline with a focus on marketing automation or marketing operations.
  • Proficient English required, as this role involves regular written and verbal communication with global teams and stakeholders.
  • High degree of experience with Marketo.
  • Knowledge of Velocity Scripting or a non-Marketo equivalent (eg. AMPscript, etc).
  • A strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in Salesforce to facilitate marketing operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to optimize website and content assets using SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) fundamentals (crawlability, indexing, redirects, metadata, and page performance).
  • Experience configuring, managing, and optimizing automated workflows in Zapier, integrating platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce, and other tools.
  • High level of expertise with HTML for use in both email marketing and landing pages. You can build email campaigns and landing pages with ease.
  • Experience running complex nurture/journey campaigns in a B2B context.
  • Basic/Introductory knowledge of Python or knowledge of coding steps in Zapier. You’ve dabbled.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with tracking and tagging technologies (eg. Google Tag Manager, Segment, etc).
  • Experience working remotely at a company whose HQ was not in your timezone or an adjacent timezone.
  • Experience in the telecommunications, cloud computing, or AI industries.
  • Experience working with statically generated websites / headless CMSs.
  • Proficiency in any of the following languages: Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, German, French, Italian.
