About the role
Creative Director Events
Meeting Tomorrow is a growing, 23-year-old full-service event agency seeking a Creative Director to lead the vision and aesthetic for complex client projects. You will bridge brand strategy and physical experience, architecting immersive event journeys using traditional design principles and emerging AI tools. This is a high-level individual contributor role responsible for concept to onsite delivery, working with specialized external talent.
What You'll Own
- Vision: Lead the vision for ideal solutions and event outcomes, including high-level hour and cost estimations.
- AI-Enhanced Concepting and Narrative Development: Utilize AI tools (Midjourney, DALL-E, Adobe Firefly) for concept art and guest journey visualizations, and LLMs (Gemini, Claude) for refining themes, scripts, and messaging.
- Brand Stewardship: Ensure all physical and digital touchpoints align with the client's brand.
- Sustainable Design: Propose creative solutions prioritizing circularity and minimizing environmental impact.
- Advanced Presentation Design: Create dynamic, cinematic presentations using tools like PPT, Keynote, or Gamma/Beautiful.ai to sell a vision.
- Spatial and Multimodal Design: Conceptualize the interaction between physical spaces and digital layers (AR, spatial computing, interactive LED).
- Freelancer Orchestration: Identify, brief, and direct specialized external talent (3D renderers, motion designers, AI artists) for project execution.

You are a builder of experiences with a proactive approach to creative challenges. You understand the intricacies of full-scale conferences and how various event elements and technologies integrate. You embrace AI in the creative workflow, are proficient with relevant tools, and can articulate the business value of your creative direction to stakeholders. You possess a strong aesthetic sense for typography, spatial flow, and color theory. You view production, tech, and freelance partners as collaborators and take ownership from concept to onsite delivery.
What You Have
- 8+ years of experience in experiential marketing, event production, or high-end experience-driven agency environments.
- A portfolio showcasing conceived and delivered live or hybrid experiences, including general session stages and conference themes.
- Proven ability to own projects from ideation to onsite completion independently.
- Hands-on AI fluency for visual ideation, moodboarding, and narrative development.
- Expert-level PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud. SketchUp, Rhino, or AI generation tools are a strong plus.
- Evidence of working on large-scale projects, such as Fortune 500 brand work, productions over $1M, or experiences for 500+ attendees.
