About The Role

We are looking for a sharp, business-minded legal professional to join our Legal Team as Assistant Manager, Corporate Legal. This is a high-impact role at the intersection of law, business, and strategy - shaping key transactions, driving compliance excellence, and enabling the company’s growth journey. You will work closely with leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, acting as both a legal advisor and a business enabler.

What You Will Do

  • Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of diverse commercial agreements - including vendor, distribution, licensing, SaaS/tech, and strategic partnership contracts.
  • Advise on corporate governance, regulatory, and compliance matters under Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, and other applicable laws.
  • Support and execute corporate transactions (M&A, joint ventures, investments, restructurings).
  • Partner with business teams to anticipate legal risks and shape pragmatic solutions.
  • Engage and manage external counsel for specialist mandates and due diligence.
  • Monitor regulatory developments, interpret implications for the business, and proactively recommend policy/process changes.
  • Drive continuous improvement in contract lifecycle management, compliance monitoring, and risk frameworks.
  • Strong foundation in corporate and commercial law, with proven experience in high-value contracts and transactions.
  • Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to distill complex legal issues into clear, actionable business advice.
  • Strategic thinker with sharp problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with multiple priorities.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across teams.
  • Commercial mindset - balancing legal risk with business opportunity.

What You Will Need

  • Qualified LLB with 4-6 years of PQE.
  • Experience in a reputed law firm and/or in-house role with exposure to corporate advisory, transactions, and compliance.
  • Experience handling cross-border contracts and complex commercial negotiations.
  • Possess an analytical and strategic mind.
