About the Role
As a Physical Therapist with MedPro Healthcare Staffing, you will be responsible for the comprehensive assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services. This includes direct patient care to evaluate their medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation. You will establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals tailored to each patient's capacity and tolerance, under the direction of a physician. Setting realistic goals, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and their families on appropriate physical therapy methods are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
- Provides skilled physical therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
- Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy OR a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy and passed the NPTES.
- Graduated from an accredited school.
- Minimum of one year's experience.
- Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist / PT or actively in the process of applying for licensure.
- Current CPR certification.
