About the Team
The team focuses on achieving revenue objectives within specific geographic or named account territories. This involves identifying and qualifying sales opportunities, then efficiently leveraging resources to bring these opportunities to a successful conclusion. A key aspect is maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and personal involvement in client relationships, aligning with Medidata's business principles. This role reports into the Director of Mid Market Sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic account management plans for assigned accounts.
- Attain all revenue and booking targets within the assigned territory.
- Represent Medidata in a manner consistent with company principles and ethics.
- Coordinate resources effectively within sales and other departments.
- Maintain and update account and opportunity data accurately within company systems, including Salesforce.com.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of the life sciences industry, particularly within clinical and/or R&D.
- Demonstrated consistent track record of being a trusted advisor within nominated accounts.
- Ability to orchestrate and manage complex sales opportunities.
- Proficiency in using a consultative approach to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
- Demonstrated consistent track record in exceeding sales and related account targets.
- Possess SaaS / application software experience.
- Demonstrated success with process-approached selling.
- Bachelor's degree required, or equivalent experience.
