Position Summary

The Manager of Warehouse Operations role is focused on leading the Sharon Hill warehouse. The candidate will manage fulfillment staff, drive operational excellence, and ensure smooth execution of order processing, reverse logistics, inventory management, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Manage and develop warehouse staff to achieve peak performance.
  • Fulfillment Operations: Oversee order pick, pack, ship, and returns processing.
  • Quality Control & Assurance: Implement QC processes to meet company standards.
  • Vendor Management: Coordinate with third-party vendors for cost-effective services.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure accurate inventory tracking and reporting.
  • KPI & SLA Performance: Monitor key metrics to meet/exceed SLAs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Operations, Customer Care, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Process Improvement: Optimize warehouse processes and reduce costs.
  • Compliance & Safety: Maintain safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Minimum 5 years in warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics management; at least 2+ years in team management is required. Experience with reverse logistics, quality assurance, vendor management, and proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) is essential. Candidates must have strong communication skills, knowledge of OSHA regulations, and forklift certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
