About Your Team

You will join a dedicated team of 3 working exclusively on the PLEXIA product. Plexia EMS, a subsidiary of MEDFAR, develops and maintains EMR software and services for physician practices, clinics, and hospitals across Canada, enhancing patient care quality.

Your Role

As the Intermediate Full Stack Developer, you will design, develop and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend stacks including ReactJS and ASP.NET Core. Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the development team to create scalable, high-quality applications.
  • Developing and maintaining database schemas, stored procedures, and queries using MS SQL.
  • Maintaining and updating front-end functionality using ASP.NET WebForms.
  • Building new modern front-end interfaces with ReactJS and ASP.NET Core.
  • Conducting comprehensive testing and participating in code reviews.
  • Staying updated with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field is required, along with 3 to 5 years experience as a Full Stack Developer. Candidates must be fluent in English and have professional experience in:

  • .NET application architecture and C# programming
  • WebForms and MS SQL
  • Frontend web technologies such as Javascript, CSS, and HTML; knowledge of React is a plus
  • Version control systems like Git
  • Security best practices for web applications

Working Conditions

This is a permanent full-time role (40h/week) with a flexible working mode; hybrid or full remote. Occasional in-office presence may be required and candidates must reside in British-Columbia.
