Role Summary
The AI Product Manager will own the end-to-end lifecycle of AI solutions. You will define strategy, identify AI opportunities, manage execution, ensure compliance, and drive AI adoption and responsible use at Medcan.
What You’ll Do
- Define and execute AI product strategy and roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Identify, prioritize, and translate business opportunities into AI use cases.
- Manage the complete AI lifecycle from ideation to continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with ML Engineers, Integration, and Data Management teams for seamless integration.
- Ensure compliance with privacy, security, and regulatory standards (PIPEDA, PHIPA).
- Evaluate third-party AI solutions and provide technical guidance.
- Drive AI adoption and change management across the organization.
- Stay current with emerging AI technologies including Generative AI and LLMs.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 4+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years focused on AI/ML products.
- Strong understanding of machine learning workflows, LLMs, Generative AI, and agentic AI.
- Experience with Salesforce Sales and Marketing cloud, Azure AI services, and AI Foundry.
- Familiarity with AI compliance and privacy in regulated environments.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Hands-on exposure to prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and vector databases is a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Work Arrangement & Location
This is a full-time hybrid position requiring 2 days in-office at our downtown Toronto clinic located at 150 York St. (near St. Andrew station / 10-minute walk from Union Station) and flexible work-from-home options.
