About The Role

The Business Development Representative role is the frontline of Medallion's go-to-market strategy and a gateway to a successful career in SaaS sales. This role feeds directly into our AE sales team and involves hunting leads, mapping healthcare accounts, and driving demand for Medallion's platform. You will work closely with our Head of Business Development and report to the Director of Business Development.

What You'll Do

  • Identify companies that match our ideal customer profile.
  • Conduct personalized outreach via email, cold calling, and social selling.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other teams to generate pipeline.
  • Qualify leads to ensure they align with our target customer.
  • Log sales activities and manage lead information in Salesforce.com.
  • Understand buyer personas and market needs.
  • Run initial qualification calls for smaller accounts.
  • Take ownership of individual performance to support team success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years in business/sales development at a SaaS startup.
  • Proven track record in lead generation and achieving sales quotas.
  • Proficient with Salesforce, Outreach, Clari, LinkedIn, Hubspot, and ZoomInfo.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skills, and a hunter mentality.
  • Process and detail-oriented with ability to handle fast-paced environments.
  • High level of interest in healthcare with a curious and positive attitude.
