Job Overview

As a Mechanical Automobile Engineer at Mechapixel, you will contribute to the design, integration, and optimization of vehicle systems and related assemblies. Your role involves SolidWorks-driven product design, engineering workflows (EBOM–MBOM–PLM), and applying vehicle dynamics knowledge for high-performance designs.

Responsibilities

  • Design and integrate vehicle subsystems using SolidWorks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet engineering standards and sustainability objectives.
  • Employ first-principles calculations for design validation.
  • Engage in technical writing, reviews, and supplier collaborations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
  • 4–5 years of industry experience in vehicle/automotive engineering.
  • Advanced SolidWorks expertise covering parts, assemblies, surfacing, sheet metal, weldments, routing, and drawing standards.
  • Experience with vehicle integration across different subsystems.
  • Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with PLM systems and SolidWorks PDM.
  • Experience with EBOM–MBOM conversions and workflow optimization.
  • Knowledge of suspension, steering, and handling fundamentals with simulation exposure.
  • Understanding of Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
  • Certificates: PLM, GD&T, 3D Experience.
