The Position

MDA is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Systems Engineering Team. In this role, you will optimize the requirements management database and associated subsystems, work closely with MDA Business Operations and other sites, and lead continuous improvement efforts for Systems Engineering tools.

  • Provide technical expertise for cost-effective systems and procedures.
  • Ensure policy compliance and cohesive practices across teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date Systems Engineering tools and support upgrades.
  • Design training materials and deliver user training sessions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support system design.

Required Qualifications

College degree with relevant experience, proven ability in administering a requirements database, and a complete understanding of the systems engineering development cycle. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills are essential, along with a keen interest in innovation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IT/software systems integrations and Requirement Management Tools (Windchill, DOORS etc.).
  • Familiarity with frontend and backend development (Vue.js, C++, Python, Java, JavaScript, CSS).
  • Knowledge in relational databases (SQL Server) and Data Modeling Concepts.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence platforms (Power BI, IBM Cognos, Crystal Reports, MS BI).

Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level and pass a security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP).
