At Down To Earth Cuisine, we deliver exceptional, personalized in-home meal prep and exclusive dining experiences. We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to help build a strong talent pipeline for our multi-market team, including WA, CA, and NV.

Position Summary

The Recruiter manages the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing and screening to onboarding mainly for personal chefs, in-home chefs, and event chefs. This role requires a proactive, organized individual with excellent candidate experience skills aligning with DTEC’s service standards.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for culinary and support roles.
  • Build pipelines of high-quality candidates across markets.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements.
  • Utilize applicant tracking systems and maintain communication.
  • Conduct phone screens and guide candidates through interviews.
  • Support onboarding with documentation and virtual orientation.
  • Track recruiting metrics like time-to-fill and offer acceptance.
  • Collaborate on strategy, sourcing methods and employer branding.
  • Network with culinary schools and industry events.

What You Bring

  • 3–5+ years recruiting/talent acquisition experience; culinary/hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent organization and time-management abilities.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to evaluate candidate qualifications and culture fit.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in HR/Business/Communications.
  • Relevant recruiting certifications are a plus.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Pay Range: $28-30/hour DOE
  • Part-time: 15–20 hours/week (up to 25 during peak)
  • Hourly, Non-Exempt
  • Benefits include health, dental, vision insurance, paid sick leave, and paid time off.

Work Environment

  • Primarily remote with flexible hours; peak need 10am-2pm.
  • Occasional travel to local events and networking functions.
  • Fast-paced requiring professionalism, adaptability, and confidentiality.
