Job Summary
The Assistant Manager Event Operations and Ticketing leads planning, execution, and enhancement of ticket operations, customer experience, event logistics, and staff management while driving strategies to increase revenue and fan engagement.
Accountabilities
- Strategic Planning & Leadership: Develop annual event calendar, lead event themes and policies.
- Event Operations & Logistics: Oversee venue set-up, hospitality, videoboard, scheduling entertainment.
- Ticketing & Customer Experience: Manage ticketing system, box office operations, and customer support.
- Staffing & Vendor Management: Hire, train, and supervise staff; manage external contractors.
- Sponsorship & Promotions: Execute sponsorship activations and partner integrations.
- Documentation & Communication: Prepare event documentation, conduct training sessions, and provide improvement recommendations.
- Inventory & Resource Management: Oversee athletic and event equipment inventory and maintenance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a related field.
Skills: Proficiency in planning and executing large-scale events, leadership of cross-functional teams, expertise in ticketing platforms, and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
