About the Role: Intermediate Software Developer

This role is ideal for experienced developers who care about the quality and impact of their work. The technology stack includes Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and JavaScript frameworks. While prior experience with Ruby on Rails is not required, a commitment to learning is essential.

Your Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and support web software applications and internal tools.
  • Analyze requirements and propose innovative solutions.
  • Proactively address technical concerns and mentor peers.
  • Participate in code reviews and Agile ceremonies.
  • Promote design patterns and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 4 years of professional software development experience.
  • Experience mentoring junior to intermediate developers.
  • Comfortable with Agile product development frameworks and MVP style development.

Must Have Skills

  • Backend Development
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL optimization
  • Frontend Development including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and JS frameworks
  • Experience with source control software
  • Strong communication of technical details
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and deliver required solutions

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Ruby and/or Ruby on Rails
  • Salesforce integration experience
  • Exposure to AWS tools & services

Language Skills

Bilingual proficiency in French, Spanish or German is preferred to support a diverse client base across North America and globally.
