Litigation Paralegal - Dallas, TX
McGuireWoods LLP is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join the Complex Commercial Litigation group in our Dallas, TX office.
Responsibilities
- Conducts research using LEXIS, Westlaw, or other relevant research platforms.
- Performs basic factual research and investigation related to client matters.
- Collects, organizes, and maintains documents and files related to legal matters.
- Manages calendars, dockets, and tickler systems, and assists in meeting deadlines.
- Drafts basic pleadings, assists with discovery requests and responses, and prepares court filings (federal and state).
- Ensures compliance with Texas court rules and e-filing procedures.
- Proofreads legal documents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of experience as a litigation paralegal.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Experience with both federal and Texas courts/rules.
- Experience with major caseloads/high volumes of cases and strong organizational skills.
- Experience with iManage preferred.
- Willingness to work with innovative technology platforms, including legal-specific AI tools.
