How can you make an impact?

The Sales & Marketing Analyst plays a key role in supporting the Sales and Marketing teams by maintaining and analyzing sales, opportunity, and marketing campaign data. You will combine multiple data sets to derive insights, support forecasting, historical performance analysis, and marketing analytics using tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide consultative, strategic, and analytic support to achieve sales and marketing objectives.
  • Perform regular weekly and monthly reporting for leadership.
  • Manage ad-hoc reporting and analytics requests, analyzing historical trends and adoption metrics.
  • Utilize SQL tools like SQL Server Management Studio and Oracle SQL Developer to query data.
  • Investigate data discrepancies and propose recommendations or solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
  • Offer validation support to team members as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience in data extraction, evaluation, modeling, and presentation of insights.
  • Proficiency with Alteryx, Tableau, and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills for conveying complex data to various audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to develop alternative solutions.

Compensation & Additional Information

This remote position requires that candidates reside and be authorized to work in the United States, with occasional travel (3-4 times per year) for in-person meetings and events. The base pay for this role ranges from $54,550 to $60,000 annually. Note: McGraw Hill recruiters use an '@mheducation.com' email address and application system iCIMS.
