Role Overview
The Controls Project Manager is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects by managing Controls systems, including Building Management Systems and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems in Mission Critical facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Controls integration design process and contract document review.
- Act as a key member of the commissioning team for Controls.
- Liaise with owner’s commissioning agent, owner, and Controls subcontractors to ensure proper commissioning and schedule adherence.
- Assist in schedule development for Controls start-up, testing, and related activities.
- Collaborate with superintendents on project logistics and temporary facility requirements.
- Review and approve material and equipment for Controls systems.
- Oversee manufacturer’s installation, operation verification, and vendor coordination.
- Support preconstruction efforts for Controls scopes on Mission Critical projects.
Qualifications
Candidates should have 7+ years in construction/Controls design and coordination, with experience in Mission Critical projects. A degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred along with a solid knowledge of construction principles and relevant codes.
Compensation Details
For California: $113,500 - $141,900. For Colorado: $103,200 - $129,000. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and other factors.
