About the Production Worker Role at Mazzella
Mazzella is seeking a dedicated Production Worker to join its team. In this role, you will be essential in producing a complete line of wire rope assemblies, adhering strictly to company methods, standards, and work instructions. We prioritize safety and efficiency in all operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, interpret, and understand codes, instructions, and specifications from Fab Tickets, special drawings, or blueprints.
- Calculate wire rope cut lengths, fitting requirements, and select appropriate equipment for various wire rope assemblies.
- Set up, operate, adjust, and maintain all wire rope production machines and equipment.
- Select, write, and attach proper tags and labels to products; accurately locate and interpret appropriate capacity tables.
- Count, record, and report inventory as required.
- Perform all duties to established quality standards and report any defective or substandard material supplies or products.
- Maintain your work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner, diligently following all Safety Guidelines.
- Undertake other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Trade school or military experience is a plus.
Experience & Skills
- Experience in rigging and lifting preferred.
- Ability to lift or pull a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and planning skills.
- Excellent math skills and overall PC literacy (Microsoft Office).
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and disciplined with the ability to multi-task.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, physical, drug screen, and E-verify is required.
