Responsibilities for IT Cloud Engineer
The IT Cloud Engineer is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting enterprise cloud solutions. This role includes developing scripts for automation, creating configuration for cloud platforms, and collaborating with developers on the Ops side of DevOps. Additional tasks involve maintaining tools and frameworks, ensuring compliance with SLAs/OLAs, and partnering with information security to secure the environment.
- Develop and maintain cloud scripts and automations.
- Document and configure cloud solutions and systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate solutions.
- Evaluate cloud standards for improvements.
- Support secure and efficient cloud operations.
Qualifications
Candidates must have relevant degrees or equivalent experience, with a demonstrated leadership background. Hands-on experience with public cloud deployment, technical security architecture, and familiarity with cloud pricing models is required. Certification in cloud engineering is expected within 12-24 months.
Work Arrangement & Location
This is a full-time, remote role within the United States while maintaining ties to Rochester, MN, one of our key operational hubs.
