Role Overview

The Senior Specialist: Recruitment will manage end-to-end recruitment for both business services professionals and fee-earners (lawyers) in the EMEA markets. This role requires strategic insight along with operational excellence to deliver high-quality recruitment outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with hiring managers to define hiring needs and develop recruitment strategies.
  • Compile and write business cases for recruitment with necessary approvals.
  • Prepare job descriptions with hiring managers and select recruitment methods.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment for business services and legal roles.
  • Source candidates via direct outreach, job boards, social media, and agencies.
  • Conduct screening interviews and coordinate multi-jurisdiction interview processes.
  • Ensure timely candidate communication throughout the process.
  • Ensure compliance with local employment laws and firm policies across EMEA.
  • Manage the offer process and maintain ATS records and analytics.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and inclusive hiring strategies.
  • Manage and update the iCIMS ATS and related recruitment records.
  • Handle temporary staff requests and process agency terms and invoices.
  • Collaborate with HR for smooth onboarding of new employees.
  • Support ad hoc projects as directed by the Manager: Recruitment.

Working Hours & Flexibility

The standard hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with flexibility as needed. The current work from home policy allows two days remote (subject to change) and consideration for 4 days per week roles.

Experience & Skills

  • Proven legal recruitment experience across EMEA (in-house or agency).
  • Deep understanding of business services functions and legal hiring.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with ATS platforms and recruitment tools like LinkedIn Talent Solutions.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office packages.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage high volume workloads and tight deadlines.
