Role Overview
The Leveraged Finance Associate will join the Banking and Finance practice in the London office. This role involves advising on high-value, cross-border leveraged and acquisition financings for private equity sponsors, investment banks, private credit funds, and corporate borrowers.
- Advise on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions
- Draft and negotiate financing and security documentation
- Manage transactions from inception to closing
- Collaborate on multi-jurisdictional matters
- Build and maintain strong client relationships

Responsibilities
- Advise on leveraged and acquisition finance transactions for sponsors and lenders
- Draft and negotiate credit, security, and intercreditor agreements
- Oversee transactions ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with global colleagues on cross-border matters
- Strengthen client relationships and support business development initiatives
Qualifications
A qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with around 4-5 years post qualification experience, strong technical skills, prior leveraged finance experience, and excellent communication abilities is required. Candidates should be self-starters, team players, and capable of managing complex, multi-jurisdictional matters.
