Job Overview - Customer Care Associate & Product Specialist
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Customer Care team. In this role, you will interact with customers via phone, email, and chat, resolve issues, provide product details, manage order fulfillment, and participate in training sessions such as furniture assembly.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries.
- Provide accurate product details and pricing information.
- Assist with product selection, returns processing, and timely deliveries.
- Resolve customer complaints and handle assembly inquiries.
- Manage order processing and parts replacements.
- Troubleshoot direct-to-customer freight shipments.
- Utilize suggestive selling and upsell products.
- Maintain attention to detail and complete tasks on time.
- Participate in ongoing development and furniture assembly training.
Requirements
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent phone, email, and chat communication skills.
- Team-oriented with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Experience in online sales, freight shipping, and order fulfillment in the furniture industry.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with online chat systems and direct phone sales.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify Plus and ChannelAdvisor.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and use of Gorgias for customer inquiries.
- Experience with suggestive selling and upselling techniques.
