Position Summary

The Bar Manager will assist in overseeing Zodiac Bar operations by delivering service that exceeds guest expectations. The role requires effective team collaboration and hands-on leadership to ensure exceptional hospitality.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Service & Hospitality: Ensure exceptional service standards, maintain high hygiene, and address conflicts promptly.
  • Operations: Complete accident reports, ensure safety, and maintain personal hygiene standards.
  • Business & Financial: Manage financial and administrative duties in the GM’s absence and adhere to company standards to balance sales and costs.
  • Leadership: Build team spirit, provide continuous feedback, and ensure staff are well-trained on company history, products, and safety protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years’ experience in fine dining and/or hotel environments is required. Proficiency with various technology systems including Microsoft Office, Excel, Google Suite, POS platforms, and reservation management systems is essential. A current NYC Food Protection Certificate and flexibility in working hours (evenings, weekends, holidays) are also required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Candidates must be flexible with job demands, able to operate necessary equipment, work under pressure, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for up to 8-10 hours per day.
