About the Role
At Mattel, Inc., the Manager, Indirect Procurement leads sourcing execution for assigned categories across North America and supports global initiatives. You will manage end-to-end sourcing projects, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
The Opportunity
Based in El Segundo, CA, you will oversee sourcing for categories such as Commercial, Tech, People, or Operations. This role involves cost efficiency, supplier performance, compliance, and negotiation on projects exceeding $250K. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
What Your Impact Will Be
- Lead sourcing projects and contract negotiations.
- Conduct spend and market analysis to find savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align strategies with business goals.
- Manage supplier relationships ensuring service and compliance.
- Work with Finance and Legal on contracts and savings validation.
- Maintain data accuracy and discipline within Coupa.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 6+ years in procurement or sourcing with proven negotiation and analytics skills. Proficiency in Excel, reporting, and experience with Coupa or similar systems is preferred. A Bachelor’s degree is required and certification is a plus. Additional languages and international negotiation skills are valued.
