Overview

MATSUKO, a deep-tech startup based in Košice, is seeking a Head of Strategy to drive global growth, form strategic partnerships, and lead our team to reshape how we work, learn, and communicate. This role reports directly to the CEO and crucially influences our expansion into new markets.

About MATSUKO

A Slovak startup with patented technology turning 2D cameras into real-time 3D holograms, collaborating with global leaders such as Apple, Meta, NVIDIA, Telefónica, and Ericsson.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create and execute company vision and global growth strategies.
  • Develop strategic collaborations and manage key projects.
  • Coach and nurture a multidisciplinary team.
  • Oversee financial management and process optimization.
  • Represent MATSUKO at major international events.
  • Act as a strategic sparring partner for the CEO and finance manager.

Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will have startup growth experience, strong analytical skills, public speaking experience, and a robust international network. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages are a plus.

Work Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Košice with approximately 20-30% travel (mainly within the EU and USA). Employment is through a contract (no freelance arrangements).
