Role Overview

The Sr. Specialist, Product Experience Design is a dual role of UX Designer and Researcher. This role is based in the development center in Pune and is part of a rapidly growing, innovative data and services Product Development team. The candidate will engage in rapid design iterations, prototype development, and visual language creation for a wide range of digital products including dashboards, chatbots, mobile and web applications, and voice interfaces.

  • Design Proof-of-Concepts and MVPs using human-centric design principles.
  • Participate in cross-functional Design Thinking workshops with various teams.
  • Develop engaging prototypes, visual mockups, and interactive experiences.
  • Explore advanced data, AI, and ML possibilities while ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with branding, marketing, and technology teams to achieve optimal usability.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include creating cohesive visual languages, rapid prototyping, and iterative design validation. You will work closely with product managers to balance business objectives and user engagement, and liaise with regional teams to address a diverse global user base. The role also involves contributing to Mastercard’s design pattern library and exploring future state conceptual designs.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 6-8 years of experience in Interaction Design.
  • Expertise in developing personas, user journeys, and rapid prototyping.
  • Strong skills with design and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, etc.).
  • Experience with complex information architectures across multiple media.
  • Proven ability to lead Design Thinking workshops and consume UX research.

Additional skills include proficiency in visual design, motion graphics, and 3D modeling, along with a deep passion for data-driven user experiences and advanced digital concepts involving AI and ML.
