Title and Summary

The role of Senior Analyst, Big Data Analytics & Engineering (also noted as Senior Analyst, Value Enablement & Optimization) is designed to lead the development of data-driven frameworks, tools, and strategies to enhance value delivery across Pricing, Pre-Sales Enablement, and Customer Success. This position combines strategic thinking with technical expertise to drive scalable, advanced analytical solutions aligned with Mastercard’s growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Support: Design value enablement frameworks, ensure data integrity, and convert business challenges into analytical problems.
  • Technical Leadership: Develop and deploy advanced analytics tools using Python, R, and SQL; create dynamic dashboards using BI platforms; integrate AI/ML models.
  • Value Enablement Initiatives: Build frameworks to measure customer value, design customer solutions, and implement self-service analytics tools.
  • Revenue Optimization: Identify revenue opportunities, monitor performance metrics, and develop ROI tracking tools.
  • Collaboration & Team Enablement: Work with cross-functional teams, lead working sessions, mentor colleagues and support training initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Implement roadmaps, manage regular stakeholder connects, and coordinate project activities.

Qualifications

Candidates should have 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics, data science, pricing strategy or customer success. Strong technical skills in Python, R, SQL, and proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI are required. Experience with AI/ML integration, developing scalable analytic solutions, and excellent communication skills are essential. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is required; advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
