Title And Summary

The role is for a Managing Consultant Strategy Transformation within Mastercard's Advisors & Consulting Services team, offering a mix of traditional management consulting enhanced with proprietary data assets and technology.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Impact: Lead client engagements across industries, develop strategies using data and tech, and own key relationships with mid-level to senior client stakeholders.

  • Develop strategies and programs for large and global clients.
  • Assess client agendas, internal culture, and change readiness.

Team Collaboration & Culture: Guide teams to creative insights and business recommendations, manage client presentations, and mentor junior consultants.

  • Provide analytical leadership and foster an inclusive work environment.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and build intellectual capital.
  • Offer on-the-job training and coaching.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications: Undergraduate degree with relevant work experience in consulting, corporate strategy, business intelligence, or product management; experience managing teams and key client relationships; proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; strong numerical and analytical skills; ability to manage multiple clients in a fast-paced setting; excellent English communication skills; eligibility to work in New Zealand.

Preferred Qualifications: New knowledge creation, industry expertise, and advanced degree (MBA or master’s) with a relevant specialization.
