Overview

The Transfer Solutions team is expanding into new payment flows such as Disbursements & Remittances and is developing Mastercard Move - a money transfer proposition that supports domestic and cross-border transactions. The aim is to scale our business and treble volume over the next 4 years by addressing key customer pain points.

The Role

As a Manager, Software Engineering Quality, you will be an individual contributor with technical team leadership and recognized expertise in the payments domain. You will work hands-on, writing non-feature code such as interfaces, tests, and architecture fitness functions while collaborating broad technical teams. Responsibilities include coaching team members, driving domain driven design, and contributing to agile processes and trade-off discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement testing strategies (E2E, unit, acceptance tests).
• Coach and develop team members to achieve engineering excellence.
• Drive testing automation, release management, and performance improvements.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Lead large global projects from planning to execution.

What You Bring

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in software quality engineering, with a strong background in payments and cross-border payment systems. Proven experience with automated testing frameworks, agile methodologies, API standards, and full stack development is essential. You should be capable of evaluating trade-offs, architecting sophisticated testing infrastructures, and promoting best practices in engineering.
