Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions
Overview
This role is instrumental in developing and executing Mastercard’s Corporate Development initiatives to further the company’s growth strategy globally. It requires a big picture thinker who connects with the payment industry and identifies lateral opportunities across geographies and industries.
Role
- Generate Investment Rationales: Partner with product, market, and corporate executives to identify strategic growth imperatives.
- Investment Profile Development & Execution: Convert inorganic growth objectives into target investment profiles and prioritize execution.
- Investment Business Case Building: Build strategic and financial analysis using consulting frameworks.
- Cross Functional Coordination: Understand products, solutions, and markets to identify impactful opportunities.
- Cross Team Transaction Execution: Lead or support due diligence and deal execution stages.
All About You
Candidates should have a strong background in consulting or investment banking, excellent relationship management, negotiation, and process management skills with the ability to communicate findings to senior executives. Financial modeling, advanced PowerPoint/Excel skills, and board-level material preparation are essential. International experience and multicultural awareness are preferred.
