Overview
The Lead DevOps Engineer will strengthen engineering workflows for mission-critical applications in the Financial Crime Solution space. You will take ownership of CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and Kubernetes tooling that support systems to identify fraud, money laundering, and other financial risks. This hands-on role supports developing bespoke services that help clients understand criminal behavior and take decisive action.
Role
- Lead the creation, maintenance, and optimization of CI/CD pipelines for application deployments.
- Utilize CI/CD tools and Terraform to deploy solutions across multiple environments with minimal manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate new features and fixes into automated pipelines.
- Automate environment-specific configurations such as certificates, secrets, and database connections using Terraform or similar tools.
- Manage handover to live support and assist with defect prioritization.
- Work with software engineers to develop self-healing and resilient microservices.
- Engage with stakeholders including platform support, project management, and live support DevOps teams.
- Report status and manage risks within your application/service scope.
- Develop a complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems.
All About You
You are a DevOps specialist with expertise in cultural and technical DevOps practices. You bring experience in implementing DevOps tools and approaches, a keen focus on automation, and a proven ability to collaborate across development, operations, and security teams. Hands-on coding skills, a strong grasp of relational and NoSQL databases, container orchestration (Kubernetes) experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies are essential.
