The Executive Assistant Role
As an Executive Assistant at Mastercard, you will perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day departmental operations for the UK&I Group Head and the related UK&I ‘Growth Accounts’ team. This role is crucial for ensuring smooth operations and efficient support to key leadership.
Responsibilities
- Manage phone coverage, schedule meetings, and handle travel arrangements.
- Process expense reports and maintain calendars effectively.
- Generate copies, screen mail, file documents, and order office supplies.
- Develop and prepare correspondence, memoranda, reports, and presentations using specified software.
- Conduct research on special topics as assigned by management.
- Handle internal and external inquiries, redirecting as appropriate.
- Provide coverage for other UK&I Business Assistants when needed.
- Analyze data from multiple sources to draw conclusions and recommend changes.
- Maintain and track departmental reports, including budgets.
- Coordinate logistics for complex meetings, conferences, and interviews.
- Exercise discretion with sensitive/confidential departmental or Mastercard data.
- Support SVP account management for NatWest Group.
- Complete analysis for UKI Bank Partnerships team to assess performance, e.g., T&E budget utilization and strategic customer account management dashboards.
Experience & Skills Required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Discretion and integrity when handling sensitive information.
