Role Overview: Director, Product Management

The Director, Product Management will lead the merchant narrative for Subscriptions by developing a strategic roadmap based on market and customer research, improving the merchant value proposition, and overseeing product evolution including go-to-market strategy, pricing, and resource optimization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic roadmap for Subscription Management focused on merchants.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the merchant value proposition.
  • Establish go-to-market strategy and optimize product pricing and resources.
  • Support customer-facing teams in socializing the merchant proposition.
  • Lead workshops at the C-suite level to drive product adoption.
  • Integrate market dynamics including regulatory, legal, and competitive factors.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to define business requirements.
  • Mentor and lead teams by sharing best practices and Mastercard Way Values.

Required Experiences

Candidates should have extensive experience with subscription/payments industries, proven success in launching products in multiple markets, and strong abilities in building product strategies. Effective verbal and written communication, team leadership, and a hands-on approach to product management are essential.

Corporate Security Responsibility

Adherence to Mastercard’s security policies is required. Candidates must ensure data confidentiality, report security breaches, and complete periodic training as mandated.
