Overview
Our North America sales organization is building a diverse, strategic, and consultative workforce consisting of relationship leaders, problem-solvers, and technologists. We are looking for motivated individuals with strong achievement orientation, intellectual curiosity, resilience, and the ability to leverage internal resources. The Retail Vertical team focuses on strategic merchant relationships in various retail categories while driving value for Mastercard and its customers.
Role
- Provide superior strategic account management with robust planning and retail insights.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for future growth.
- Support key organizational initiatives and cross-sell Mastercard solutions.
- Engage senior/C-level executives to build strong partnerships.
- Develop business cases and negotiate contract agreements.
All About You
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Experience in payments, technology, or retail with responsibility for business development.
- Proven record in managing complex sales and delivering results.
- Ability to build strong cross functional relationships at all levels.
- Travel up to 30% required; preferred location NYC or Purchase, NY.

Compensation & Benefits
This position offers a competitive base salary with bonus opportunities and a full benefits package including insurance, paid leaves, retirement plans, and more. Location-dependent salary ranges: New York City ($172,000 - $275,000 USD) and Purchase, New York ($164,000 - $263,000 USD).
