As a Directional Drill Operator/Locator, you will support directional drilling for the installation of underground conduits and fiber optic cables. You believe in doing the job right, being the best, and are ready for the challenge. Additionally, you will perform the following tasks:- Identify utilities for the Horizontal Directional Drill Operator for the installation of underground conduits and fiber optic cables.
- Operate a horizontal directional drill in collaboration with the Drill Locator to successfully install coax and fiber systems.
- Ensure the safety of the public and other underground facilities.
- Read utility locations and coordinate daylighting of these facilities.
- Transport heavy equipment to and from the job site daily.
- Travel 100% of the time on rotation (except during PTO and holidays).
- Support various telecommunications projects of varying durations.

- Open to traveling Monday through Friday with per diem (100% of the time and 50 to 60 hours per week, depending on weather), working 3 to 4 weeks straight and then 5 days off, scheduling breaks around holidays.
