The Opportunity
As the Business Delivery Consultant at MassMutual, you will help formulate and define business and/or systems strategy and objectives based on a wide range of business, compliance, and operational factors. You will consider the Third-Party Distribution strategy and identify impacts to internal partners and customers when developing strategic initiatives.
The Team
Join MassMutual's Strategic Distributors team, which focuses on expanding partnerships with financial institutions and investing in technology, sales, operations, marketing, and product development. The MMSD Delivery and Program Management team consists of Business Delivery Consultants and Project Managers supporting product lines for the Third-Party business.
The Impact
- Advocate and represent business interests in strategic initiatives.
- Support business analysis and collaborate across multiple projects.
- Leverage technical knowledge of Life/DI and Annuity products.
- Negotiate requirements and influence strategy implementation.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and internal control adherence.
- Engage with internal senior leaders and external partners.
- Identify trends and perform root cause analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include 5+ years experience in Financial Services/Insurance, 3+ years experience in business consulting or key strategic initiatives, and 2+ years of Third Party experience including relationship management. Estimated travel of 10-15% is required.
The Ideal Qualifications
- Experience on strategic initiatives for life or annuity products.
- Working knowledge of regulatory and compliance rules.
- Subject matter expertise in industry standard tools (DTCC, ACORD, iPipeline, COVR).
- Strong technical aptitude with innovation and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
