About the Digital Experience Specialist Role
The Digital Experience Specialist at Massachusetts Medical Society supports the planning, execution, and ongoing optimization of digital experiences across NEJM Group’s portfolio of products and platforms. The role involves working closely with Digital Strategy & Experience, Customer Insights, editorial, marketing, UX, and technology teams to ensure user-centered, effective digital experiences for a global audience.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day execution of digital experience initiatives across NEJM Group websites and platforms.
- Assist in developing and executing digital product strategies and experience initiatives.
- Manage and maintain feature documentation and enhancement roadmaps.
- Synthesize user feedback for continuous improvement.
- Conduct competitive research and user analysis.
- Monitor and report on performance metrics related to user engagement.
- Prepare presentations and reports for internal stakeholders.
- Participate in project meetings and strategic discussions.
- Assist with UX and audience research activities, usability testing, and surveys.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support project delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in digital media, communications, marketing, UX, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years supporting digital platforms, websites, or media products.
- Experience with subscription-based or content-driven digital products is a plus.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as Adobe Analytics and user experience tools.
- A collaborative work style and attention to detail.
- Curiosity about audience behavior, digital publishing trends, and UX best practices.
Compensation & Benefits
Target base pay range: $65,000 - $75,000. Benefits include 3 weeks paid vacation, 6 personal days, 12 sick days, 13 paid holidays, comprehensive medical and dental plans, 401(k) with company match, backup childcare assistance, tuition assistance, and more.
