Service Line Resource Technician at Mass General Brigham
The Service Line Resource Technician role at Mass General Brigham supports peri-operative services by ensuring that surgical supplies and equipment are delivered, maintained, and kept sterile for optimal patient care. This role is integral within the Central Sterile Processing Services (CSPS) department at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Essential Functions
- Retrieve and deliver requested supplies to team
- Develop expertise in instruments and specialty supplies
- Handle workloads under stressful conditions
- Assist others when needed
- Perform package integrity checks and maintain sterile items
- Collect unused surgical supplies and return them to stock
- Supplement case pick process as necessary
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
- OR/Sterile processing experience (0-1 year) preferred
- Exceptional customer service and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in MS Office; EPIC and SPM knowledge is a plus
