About the role

Operations Assistant Manager

Mashreq Corporate & Investment Banking Group is seeking an Operations Assistant Manager to drive process improvements and enhance customer service within their operations team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop service-oriented dashboards to track queries and propose solutions for reducing manual handling.
  • Create a system for quickly identifying queries stemming from processing errors, escalating them to the Department Head, and collaborating with operations and client services to minimize customer impact and losses.
  • Share insights on errors and knowledge gaps with line managers and Division Heads to prevent recurring service issues.
  • Lead End-to-End (E2E) process improvements through automation and digitalization initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all queries, complaints, and concerns.
  • Conduct critical analysis of issues related to errors, delays, and Service Level Agreement (SLA) breaches, recommending permanent solutions.
  • Support the design of solutions to address issues identified during Quality Check and MIS report generation, ensuring fast-track implementation.
  • Periodically review and improve inter-group and intra-group SLAs in alignment with automated solutions.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Graduate degree with 7-8 years of diversified experience in banking operations, covering a broad range of banking products and services.
  • Proficiency in banking processes and systems.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
