We are searching for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our Infrastructure Operations team as an Assistant Manager - Command Center Monitoring. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the seamless operation of our technology infrastructure. Your primary focus will be on overseeing the command center's monitoring activities, ensuring that our systems and processes are robust and efficient. You will lead a team of monitoring specialists, guiding them to refine and optimize our monitoring strategies, and ensuring prompt and effective response to any alerts or incidents.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of monitoring specialists, providing guidance and support to ensure effective monitoring practices.
• Oversee the command center's monitoring activities, ensuring the timely detection and resolution of potential issues.
• Refine and enhance monitoring processes and strategies to improve overall system performance and stability.
• Coordinate and prioritize incident escalations, ensuring a swift and efficient response to any critical issues.
• Collaborate with other IT teams and stakeholders to align monitoring efforts with business objectives and requirements.
• Stay updated with the latest monitoring technologies and trends, implementing best practices to enhance our monitoring capabilities.
• Analyze and interpret monitoring data, identifying patterns and trends to optimize system performance and prevent future issues.
• Document and maintain accurate records of monitoring activities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
• Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the command center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, with a strong focus on monitoring and incident management.
• Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of monitoring specialists.
• In-depth knowledge of monitoring platforms, databases, and technologies, including industry-leading tools and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Experience in developing and implementing monitoring strategies, with a track record of improving system performance and stability.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to IT operations and monitoring practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Willingness to stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in the field of IT monitoring and operations.
