Job Description

About Masabi

At Masabi, we’re powering the journeys of millions by making public transport payments simple, accessible, and seamless, whether through a mobile app, a ticket machine, or tapping a bank card. Our Justride platform is live in over 250 cities worldwide, and we partner with leaders like Uber, Moovit and Transit to drive the future of fare collection. Your journey matters too. At Masabi, you’ll join a team of innovators with the tools and support to build the career you want.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support our CEO and Operating Group, reporting directly to the CEO. The role is part-time, ideally 4 days per week, although we would consider 3 days per week for an exceptional candidate.

This is not a traditional EA role focused only on diary management, but a trusted partnership role at the centre of how our leadership team works together.

You will help create clarity, protect focus, and most importantly, ensure that conversations turn into action. You will bring structure and calm to a global executive team spanning the UK and North America. You will help us move forward, together.

Location

This role is available for candidates based in London or the surrounding areas. It is primarily remote, with the expectation of attending our London office a couple of times per quarter.

  • Prepare agendas and materials for Operating Group meetings, Board sessions and All Hands
  • Capture decisions clearly and track actions through to completion
  • Notice when things start to drift and help bring focus back
Protect time and focus

  • Prepare professional documentation and ensure information flows securely
  • Be a calm and discreet presence in high stakes environments
Connect a global team
  • Build strong relationships across the UK and North America
  • Bridge time zones and communication styles with clarity and respect
  • Encourage openness and reduce silos across the Operating Group
Operational excellence
  • Arrange international travel when required
  • Manage expenses accurately and responsibly
  • Look for thoughtful ways to improve how the Operating Group works together

About You

  • Significant experience supporting C level or senior executives in fast paced, global environments
  • Calm, thoughtful and steady, with the judgement to know when to step forward and when to step back
  • Comfortable being direct and clear, able to challenge respectfully when priorities conflict
  • Strong written skills, with the ability to distil complex discussions into clear summaries and actions
  • Confident working across cultures and time zones, building trust quickly with senior stakeholders
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgement, especially in sensitive or high pressure situations
  • Experienced in handling confidential information with care and discretion
  • Confident using modern workplace tools such as Google Workspace and Slack, and open to adopting AI based productivity tools to improve efficiency
