About the Maryland Judiciary

Essential Job Functions
The Problem-Solving Courts (PSC) Case Manager is responsible for facilitating and monitoring program participant involvement and completion of ancillary service components of the mental health court program for Prince George’s County District Court. Required oversight includes, but is not limited to, acquisition of and facilitating access to the following resources: health, legal, family services, behavioral services, and non-clinical services as needed by the participants. This position does not provide the 'service'; the position facilitates access to and monitors progression in behavior, attendance, skills learned, compliance, and implementation of the services and skills learned.
- Manage a caseload of 50 clients, developing case plans, monitoring progress, maintaining case notes, and reporting to the court.
- Facilitate access to services for clients and monitor participant progress.
- Establish new contacts and develop community partnerships.
- Evaluate new resources for clients and assess program and participant needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university OR Associate Degree with four (4) years of experience.
Experience: Two (2) years of fieldwork or case management experience in mental health, homelessness, addictions, human/family services, health services, public safety, law enforcement, or court management.
Note: This position does not offer clinical supervision hours.
