About Marvell
Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are essential building blocks powering data infrastructure across enterprise, cloud, AI, automotive, and carrier architectures. At Marvell, your work impacts lives, industries, and the future of technology.
Your Team, Your Impact
As an Analog IC Design Principal Engineer, you will join the Central Engineering business group. The team comprises experienced analog and mixed-signal engineers working on ADC based analog fronts and standalone IPs for various applications, with a current focus on cutting-edge ADC based SerDes IPs for high-speed connectivity.
What You Can Expect
You will engage in designing sophisticated CMOS transceiver/SERDES products. Your responsibilities include architectural investigations and implementation for circuits such as PLL, DLL, ADC, regulators, amplifiers, TX, RX, CDRs, among others, to meet key performance targets. You will perform design verification using industry standard tools like SPICE, Spectre, MATLAB, and more. You are expected to manage layout activities in nanometric technologies and supervise physical design. Lab work will involve characterizing, debugging, and validating designs alongside test engineers. You will also generate design documents and application specifications, and occasionally support customers and FAEs and interface with digital and SOC teams for design integration and cross-functional verifications.
Requirements
A Master’s degree and/or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 2-3 years of experience is required. Candidates should have deep knowledge of sub-micron CMOS technologies, practical experience in designing mixed-signal circuits including ADCs, DACs, RX, TX, PLLs, Filters, bandgap bias circuits, and regulators. High-speed ADC design, low power and high-speed design techniques are preferred. Familiarity with IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Hsim, Verilog, among others, is essential, as well as lab testing skills to evaluate prototypes against design specifications.
Additional Compensation And Benefits
Competitive compensation paired with great benefits in an environment of collaboration, transparency, and inclusivity. Employees are given tools and resources to succeed and grow with Marvell.
